I went into the House Cleaning business, two years after my wedding, two years after moving to Florida.

Since then, I have done residential, commercial, doing rental and condominium turn-overs, and construction clean up to the level of move in ready. I've had many different cleaning routes and many different clients over the last 40 plus years. Currently I only do residential housekeeping. Working for the elderly is a speciality.

During my career as a housekeeper, I've maintained my roles as Mom and Wife, fitting in cleaning jobs during husband's work and the boy's school times. I've seldom used the services of child sitters for my cleaning route. In spite of my nearly full time cleaning, I also found time to volunteer as a chaperone for my children's field trips. Family comes first.

In recent years, I've volunteered at the county animal shelter as a dog walker and for hospice doing arts and crafts with some of their patients. We have had dogs in the house for a over a decade. I stay busy in art work, doing custom greeting cards, original sketches and water color painting in my "spare time". I still take art classes from local artists. I have been a member of Women in Networking (WIN) for 11 years - since merged with another networking organization.

I live in Largo Florida with my Husband of 42 years and our 12 year old beagle, Tinker. Our boys are now grown and married. One lives in Los Angeles, working as a post production supervisor in the entertainment industry and the other in Minneapolis, working for the University of Minnesota in the IT dept as a business analyist. Husband is retired but has a presence on alternate social media platforms - keeping up with current events. He also works on house projects, wood working, amateur radio, making videos for Youtube and other platforms as well as other interests.
